As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test our multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment that’s behind the technology we use every day. You'll be responsible for building, repairing, and testing various types of equipment--including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. You will perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs-- and perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available and inspected for defects. Using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps you'll test assemblies, complete documentation, perform repairs, or install software to continuously improve our processes.

 

 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Support and perform Analysis / Reliability jobs requested by stakeholders for process rejects, qualification / evaluation samples, RMAs; and provide the results to the making of final reports.
  • Plans out daily / shift task for FA & REL jobs ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensure hand-over of jobs to next shift.
  • Provide mentorship & guidance to operators.
  • Provide basic maintenance & care to tools and machines.
  • Maintenance of workplace to meet 5S and safety requirement.
  • Support setups from established procedures where applicable.
  • Contribute to capabilities / techniques enhancement for better precision and efficiency.
  • Contribute to lab setup for task enablement.
  • Support internal and external audit.
  • Other ad-hoc activities assigned by the superior.

Requirement:

  • Diploma in Material/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • More than 3 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience or related technical trainings and certifications 
  • Understanding and knowledge of Reliability Environmental Stress Test Requirement, including HTHH, TC, UV & LT test.
  • Hands-on experience on common FA techniques and use of analysis instrument such as cross-section, ion-mill, CSAM, EDX, FTIR, FIB etc.
  • Material characterisation procedures such as including Bend, Abrasion & Adhesion test.
  • Knowledge of materials physics & able to associate the relevance of REL & FA test.
  • Self-directed and able to meet commitments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to perform shift work and support overtime when required.
