DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Admin Assistant, located in Diegen, Belgium

ob Overview 

The Admin Assistant plays a key role in enabling the day‑to‑day effectiveness of teams at DePuy Synthes by providing high‑quality administrative and organizational support. This role supports leaders and teams through coordination, communication, and efficient handling of administrative processes, helping ensure smooth operations and a positive workplace experience. The position offers broad exposure to a dynamic MedTech environment and the opportunity to build foundational skills while contributing to meaningful work that supports patient outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide general administrative support to a department or group, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics. 

  • Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and expense tracking in accordance with company policies. 

  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and events, ensuring timely follow‑up on action items. 

  • Prepare, format, and distribute internal and external correspondence and presentations. 

  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation in line with data privacy and compliance standards. 

  • Serve as a point of contact for visitors, internal stakeholders, and external partners, providing professional customer service. 

  • Support basic project coordination and assist with less complex components of initiatives as assigned. 

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance administrative efficiency and effectiveness. 

 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Required: Completed commercial apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent secondary education. 

  • Preferred: Additional administrative or business‑related certification or coursework. 

Experience and Skills 

Required: 

  • 68 years of relevant administrative or office support experience. 

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. 

  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team‑based, professional environment. 

  • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. 

Preferred: 

  • Prior experience supporting leaders or cross‑functional teams in a corporate environment. 

  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, or events. 

  • Familiarity with administrative processes in a regulated or matrixed organization. 

  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes. 

Other 

  • Languages: Fluency  English . 

  • Travel: Minimal travel expected (generally <10%). 

  • Certifications: None required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€52,000.00 - €82,685.00

 

 

Benefits:

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
