The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates with hiring managers and assists with the assessment of recruitment/placement needs
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Coordinates the recruitment process for permanent and temporary employees, including but not limited to the following:
- Posts open roles to various recruitment job boards with diligent follow-up.
- Conducts screening and placement interviews and appraises candidates’ qualifications
- Assists with recommending appointments, promotions, transfers, and training assignments
- Manages candidates seamlessly through the interview process; set expectations, provide thoughtful feedback, negotiate, and close all offers
- Attends and participates in job fairs and other recruiting sessions
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences, and the like
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies, including but not limited to the Joint Commission Standards
- Assists in maintaining Joint Commission Standards and Performance Improvement Plans
- Performs other related duties, as assigned
WE LOOK FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree with specialized courses in a business-related or Human Resources discipline.
- Three (3) to five (5) years previous human resources experience.
