About the Role

Description

Talent Acquisition Associate

LBPM + Fairgrove • Reports to: Head of HR • Irvine, CA

LBPM + Fairgrove is a fast-growing, full-service property management company serving Southern California from Los Angeles to San Diego. We manage a diverse portfolio of single-family homes, multifamily communities, HOAs, and commercial properties — delivering exceptional service to owners, residents, and stakeholders at every level. We believe property management is about more than collecting rent and handling maintenance. We serve as trusted partners to our clients, protecting their assets and providing peace of mind that comes with knowing their properties are in good hands. We are a team of dedicated professionals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and take pride in the work we deliver every day. If you are ready to bring your best and grow with a company on the rise, we would love to hear from you.

This role sits within our HR team and is responsible for filling open positions across our portfolio from on-site property managers and maintenance technicians to corporate support roles. What You’ll Do

Own the Recruiting Process

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for open roles across the company from posting the job to extending the offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand what they need and set realistic expectations on timelines and candidate availability.
  • Write clear, compelling job postings that attract the right candidates and reflect our culture.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and move the right people through the process efficiently.
  • Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout — a great candidate experience matters to us.

Source & Build Pipelines

  • Proactively source candidates for hard-to-fill roles using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and industry-specific channels.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for roles we hire frequently, such as property managers and leasing agents.
  • Develop relationships with local colleges, trade programs, and community organizations to expand our talent pool.
  • Stay current on where property management talent is and how to reach them.

Support HR & Onboarding

  • Coordinate interview scheduling, background checks, and offer letters to keep the process moving without delays.
  • Hand off new hires to the HR team smoothly so the onboarding experience starts on the right foot.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and requisition updates in our ATS.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as the team grows and needs evolve.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within property management or real estate.
  • Familiarity with the roles and skill sets common in property management — property managers, leasing agents, maintenance technicians, HOA managers, and similar positions.
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions at the same time without dropping the ball.
  • Comfortable sourcing candidates proactively, not just waiting for applications to come in.
  • Strong communicator — responsive, clear, and easy to work with for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Hands-on experience with an ATS is required — you will be managing candidates and requisitions in our system from day one.
  • A positive, people-first attitude — you understand that every candidate interaction reflects on our company.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar sourcing tools.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus given the markets we serve.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred.

Location & Schedule

This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Irvine, CA headquarters. You will travel to our regional offices approximately 15% of the time as hiring needs require.
