About the Role

Description

SPEECHCOM, INC is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a passionate and motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Supportive and Collaborative School-Based Team in Paramount, CA, for the duration of the 2026 summer school session.


Position Highlights

  • Rate of Pay: $36-$42 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
  • School Setting
  • Serve as a roaming LVN to help support the district nurse with a variety of nursing duties.
  • 2026 ESY Session (summer school ) June 8 through July 9 - Monday through Thursday
  • 6 daily hours

Requirements

 

What YOU Need

  • Active License as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California
  • School setting experience is highly preferred!!
  • Knowledge of district policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with a team of nurses.
  • Experience with vision and hearing screenings is a plus!!
  • Must pass LiveScan/Fingerprinting
  • New TB Skin Test to be completed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, teachers, and families
  • Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete data entry efficiently
