About the Role

Description

Rhode Island Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a passionate Patient Coordinator to join our dedicated team. We provide the highest quality dental care to children, adolescents, adults, and patients with special health care needs. As a collaborative team of pediatric dentists and orthodontists, we are committed to exceptional patient care, strong partnerships with families, and meaningful connections within our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage accurate check-ins and check-outs
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind patients of appointments
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing questions
  • Maintain organized patient records and support smooth office flow
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure an exceptional experience
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Travel required between both locations: Coventry and East Greenwich
  • Prior experience in dental or medical front-office preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, pediatric-focused setting
  • Team-oriented, positive attitude
