Director Tech Transaction Advisory / Strategy (m/f/d)

What we look for:

• You take ownership of international technology, IT, and AI due diligence projects in buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity investors, corporates, and portfolio companies.
• You assess complex IT landscapes with regard to architecture, infrastructure, scalability, maintainability, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational performance.
• You conduct AI due diligence assessments and evaluate AI maturity, data strategies, technical feasibility, as well as innovation and value creation potential.
• You identify technical risks, tech debt, and optimization opportunities across platforms, data landscapes, and vendor ecosystems and develop corresponding technology roadmaps and post-transaction strategies.
• You collaborate closely with commercial, digital, and financial due diligence teams to enable integrated transaction assessments and value creation initiatives.
• You present findings and strategic recommendations to C-level executives, investment committees, and technical stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to clients and investors.
• You lead project teams, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and actively support the development and scaling of the team.
• You actively contribute to sales and pitching activities, develop new services aligned with emerging technology and AI trends, and represent OMMAX in strategic client interactions.

What we require:

• You hold an outstanding degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• You bring 7+ years of relevant professional experience in technology due diligence, IT consulting, digital strategy, or technology M&A advisory.
• You have proven experience working with private equity firms, investors, or companies in transaction-related environments.
• You demonstrate deep expertise in modern IT architectures, cloud environments, software development processes, and AI technologies.
• You have experience assessing IT service providers, technology vendors, and outsourced service models from both technical and commercial perspectives.
• You are familiar with ERP, CRM, and data platform landscapes and understand requirements around system integration, scalability, and IT operating models.
• You combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to translate technical findings into investment-relevant conclusions and strategic recommendations.
• You stand out through strong communication and presentation skills and engage confidently with C-level executives, investment professionals, and technical stakeholders.
• You possess very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with architecture modeling tools, data-flow mapping, or code assessments is a plus.
• You work in a structured, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented manner and bring a strong passion for technology, AI, and value creation in transaction environments.
• You are fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
