Job Description

          General

  • Part of the Global Derivative Operations Centre (GDOC). The specific focus wil be to execute pre-defined processes to an exacting level of accuracy as well as contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • To understand and internalize the product and process specific intricacies across diverse platforms

          Role specific

  • Working experience of trade capture, trade amendments and PnL & positions calculations for future and option trades.
  • Working experience of trade confirmation and settlement activities.
  • Working experience of trade reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of trade lifecyle and associated activities.
  • Contributes to all team objectives and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • To undertake  as directed ad-hoc projects, investigations and analysis.
  • Knowledge of the commodity market with its different derivatives like Futures, Options, Cash contracts etc.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM THE JOB

The Global Derivatives Operations Centre (GDOC) is responsible for ensuring the integrity of our Pnl & positions in the F&O / OTC markets.

Skills & competencies /Specific knowledge/ Abilities (including any physical demands)

  • Working experience in a derivative operations environment or a reconciliation process.
  • Good Financial products/ procedure know-how is highly desirable
  • Committed approach to team work.
  • Resilience and adaptability to unforeseen work demands; Willingness to accept responsibility.

Minimum years of experience & CTC:

  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in Derivatives middle office

Reporting Line: Head – Global Derivatives Operations Centre India

Education:

College or University degree in a financial/ accounting or engineering related discipline preferred.

Languages skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to relate well to people at all levels;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
