About the Role
Overview
Supports Contracting Officer’s Representatives (COTRs) and development teams by refining requirements, system designs, and test capabilities to meet mission needs. Applies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools to improve system lifecycle outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and refining system requirements and design artifacts
- Support MBSE activities under supervision
- Contribute to system models and documentation
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand mission needs
- Support test planning and validation activities
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of MBSE concepts and systems engineering principles
- Familiarity with at least one framework or language (DoDAF, SysML, or UAF)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience OR Highschool Diploma and 7 years of relevant work OR Associate's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's and 10 years
- Top Secret Clearance/SCI with POLY
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx EA)
- Entry-level SysML or systems engineering coursework
- OCSMP certification (or progress toward it)
