About the Role

Volo’s Auto Supply is a locally owned and operated auto parts supplier, working within the NAPA Auto Parts system. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality products to meet the diverse needs of our clients.


Job Description:

Outside Sales Representatives focus on Business-to-Business sales, working closely with automotive repair shops, dealerships, and heavy-duty/agriculture customers. This role is critical in driving the growth of our business by developing strong relationships with customers and creating tailored sales strategies to meet their needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Customer Engagement:

· Conduct regular visits to customer locations, including automotive repair shops, dealerships, and agricultural/heavy-duty businesses.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

· Collaborate with customers to identify and develop opportunities for stocking products based on their needs, ensuring product availability and timely delivery


Sales Planning & Strategy:

· Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territories.

· Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

· Collaborate with the internal sales team and management to develop and refine sales strategies.


Market Development:

· Research and identify potential new markets and customer segments within the automotive and heavy-duty/agriculture industries.

· Provide market feedback to management, helping to shape the company's product offerings and pricing strategies.

· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent Volo's Auto Supply and generate leads.


Customer Support & Problem Resolution:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support.

· Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

· Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with the store team to meet delivery schedules and product requirements.

· Accurately process customer orders, placing new orders as necessary to meet customer demand while ensuring stock levels are maintained.

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the automotive or heavy-duty/agriculture vehicle industries.

Strong understanding of Business-to-Business sales processes and customer relationship management.

Ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation..
