PARTS ASSOCIATE – 2ND SHIFT

DHT Group is actively hiring a Parts Associate for our Reese, Michigan location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Source hard-to-find and specialty parts for trucks and equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and inventory control systems
  • Create purchase orders for stock, customer requests, and work orders
  • Monitor inventory usage reports and replenish or purge inventory as needed
  • Support mechanics with requested parts deliveries to DHT locations
  • Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
  • Assist in keeping the Parts Department clean, organized, and efficient
  • Delegate daily tasks effectively to Parts personnel
  • Deliver outstanding internal and external customer service

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience with truck, heavy equipment, or fleet parts preferred
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication with vendors, technicians, and leadership
  • Inventory control and purchasing experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements


WHAT YOU NEED

  • Minimum of 1 year of applicable parts, fleet, trucking, or equipment experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable using Windows-based computer programs and able to quickly learn company business management software
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) preferred
  • Ability to safely lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to climb ladders and regularly reach merchandise and inventory
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable
