Hilton East Assisted Living is currently seeking an Aide Supervisor to lead and manage our Aides at our facility located in Hilton, NY.

SHIFT DETAILS:

  • 2nd Shift/Weekends

Essential Responsibilities: 


• Delegates tasks to Direct Care Staff. Ensure that Aides are kept on task and delivering unsurpassed service. 

• Inform direct care personnel of service delivery schedules. 

• Ensure timely response by Aides to resident’s needs.

• Monitor and perform consistent safety practices. 

• Implement Aide's adherence to all agency policies and procedures. 

• Ensure Aide documentation is completed accurately and timely. 

• Assist with staff development and skills review. 

• Provide direct client care and other related duties as assigned. 

• Attend morning report and all Director meetings. 

• Act as the first level, “go-to person” for Aide's troubleshooting issues. 

• Provide first-level support as a patient services liaison to research issues surrounding complaints and then communicate findings to the manager. 

• Facilitate the orientation and training of new aides. 

• Assist patients with concern and empathy. 

• Respect patient confidentiality and privacy.

• Communicate courteously and respectfully. 

• Anticipate resident issues to circumvent challenges and deliver unsurpassed patient experience.

• Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum resident services as requests and needs change. 

• Other duties as assigned. 


Requirements

  • Required: current valid HHA certification
  • Required: previous supervisor experience
  • Previous experience in Home Care or Assisted Living is preferred
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Adherence to policies and procedures
