Starkweather & Shepley Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to clients within the Health & Human Services sector, managing a large and complex book of business while delivering exceptional service, risk management guidance, and insurance expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with clients, carriers, producers, and internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions
Requirements
- Manage and oversee a large, complex book of commercial business focused on Health & Human Services organizations.
- Serve as the primary client relationship manager for key accounts.
- Lead renewal strategy, coverage analysis, and stewardship meetings.
- Identify client exposures and provide proactive risk management recommendations.
- Collaborate with producers, marketing specialists, and carrier partners to develop comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Negotiate coverage terms and pricing with carriers.
- Present renewal and coverage recommendations to clients and prospects.
- Maintain strong client retention through exceptional service and consultative account management.
- Mentor and support Account Managers and other team members as needed.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting the Health & Human Services sector.
