About the Role:

As a Calibration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments and equipment used across various departments. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Metrology, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in calibration of industrial or laboratory instruments.
• Strong understanding of calibration standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.
• Proficiency in using calibration tools, software, and measurement devices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Certification as a Calibration Technician (e.g., from the American Society for Quality or equivalent).
• Experience with automated calibration systems and data management software.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine calibration of a wide range of instruments and equipment according to established standards and procedures.
• Develop and update calibration documentation, including procedures, schedules, and reports to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot calibration issues, recommending corrective actions or equipment repairs as necessary.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to support audits, inspections, and validation activities.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure all instruments are properly labeled and stored to prevent damage or contamination.
