Job Description

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a temporary contract basis in Agadir-Ida-Outanane, Morocco. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are delivered on time:

 

  • Procurement and HSE process follow up to secure right equipment for trial development and adequate facilities in line with company policy.
  • Budget delivery within operation, planning, people management and 3er parties
  • Small and large CaPex portfolio management:
    • Study a demand/project under an OpEx (Sig Sigma) methodology showing that the proposed solution will generate improvements/benefits at the areas where will be develop.
    • Create, follow and close of demands/projects in PPM Capex tool.
    • Arrange different meetings with stakeholders, project team, engineering, … to align project´s specifications, actions to be taken, prioritization tasks, risks assessment, deadlines set at the planification.
    • Develop a deep collaboration with procurement, creating different Tenders (RFP) to settle comparative tables and determine best contractor or supplier closer to our objective cost and Syngenta Standards.
    • Generate, follow, and close Purchase Orders in Sap Ariba.
    • Make an efficient yearly cost control of invoices received having a real time knowledge of the cost charged.
    • Keep tracking of the schedule agreed in different project and create action or rise concerns about possible time deviations or gains.
    • Tracking construction/activity licenses, permits or mandatory regulations with city council or public administration to carry on the project under correct legislation.
    • Set and tracking HSE Syngenta & Legal requirements. Work with HSE department to achieve Goal Zero.
    • Update of Asset List if necessary, with disposal or transfer asset processes.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Proven expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
  • Proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle management and quality assurance principles
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and continuous improvement methodologies

Additional Information

      • Upgrade sustenance portolio with information comming from GFM/CBRE/Ad-hoc.
      • Set investment priorities and launch the necesary yearly maintenance projects.
      • Close within the year the investments lauched.
      • Tracking projects in PPM Capex Tool, Cost Control and be inside of the agreed deadlines.
      • Follow HSE and License Regulations in projects with the help of HSE Department and Engineering, etc.
      • Asset List Updated.
