As an Analog Hardware Team Leader, you'll lead a team of hardware engineers developing the analog and communication circuits at the heart of SolarEdge's solar inverters and optimizers. You'll take your designs through the full R&D lifecycle: from concept and feasibility, through simulation, schematic design, and lab verification, all the way to mass production.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set the technical bar for the team, mentor engineers in their day-to-day work, and partner closely with software, system, mechanical, and production teams to bring robust products to market. It's a great fit for someone who wants to stay deep in analog engineering while growing a team and shaping how we design.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of hardware engineers across analog circuit design, simulation, and testing.
  • Research, design, and develop analog and communication circuits, from requirements through to mass production.
  • Run lab characterization and verification of analog circuits using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment.
  • Own design reviews and serve as the professional authority for the team's engineering discipline.
  • Collaborate with software, system, and production teams to ensure seamless hardware/software integration and a smooth transfer to manufacturing.
  • Manage technical scope, schedule, risk, and product quality across your team's projects.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in discrete analog hardware and board design.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
  • Proven hands-on experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Strong background in analog circuit design, including passive and active filters and op-amp topologies.
  • Experience with PCB layout
  • Knowledge of PSpice / LTspice simulators - an advantage.
  • Specialization in RF, communication, or power electronics - an advantage.
  • Programming skills in Python - an advantage.
