About the Role

Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Business Unit Industry to join our team in Biatorbágy, Hungary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth, preparation of a short and long-term development strategy for dedicated market segment in accordance with market requirements and for participation in running, maintaining, and developing the existing product protfolio as part of Product management in accordance with the Corporate process.

Further details about responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities, actively identifying potential new markets and sales channels
  • Increasing the use of the development potential in a dedicated market segment;
  • Achieving predefined specific goals for the market segment, such as the sale of dedicated solutions and technologies, development of new, innovative, and sustainable technologies, special commercial projects. etc;
  • Participation in achieving budgeted business goals in terms of budget and EBIT, plus realization of the budget in relation to previously set sales targets;
  • Participation in the preparation and implementation of pricing policy according to Standard Pricing Policy, supporting area related market managers;
  • Conducting trade negotiations with major distribution customers;
  • Monitoring and analysis of market and sales data relating to specific market segments and the competitive environment;
  • Preparing, conducting trainings, conferences, seminars to promote technologies in the market segment, participation in external events related to the segment;
  • Building company image in front of the customers, building brand awareness, participation in developing marketing strategy;
  • Implementing and supporting e-commerce initiatives;
  • Constant development, acquiring knowledge about new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architect or Chemical)
  • At least 5 years of experience in direct B2B sales position in the field of adhesives and sealants
  • Experience in a managerial or a managerial support position and willingness to step to next carrier level
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and P&L responsibility
  • Experience in managing complex projects and driving operational efficiencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in building long term business relationships
  • Knowledge of management methods, negotiation techniques and communication
  • Ability to learn quickly new technologies and to pass this knowledge to others
  • Fluency in English and native Hungarian is a must
  • Computer literacy, experience in using IT platforms
  • B category driving licence
