Position Description

Assists in billing and maintaining customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Assists as an intermediary between departments resolve billing and purchase order issues with customers.
  • Creates and maintains customer accounts.
  • Maintains compliance with sales tax laws and regulations.
  • May assist in reviews, investigations and corrections of errors and inconsistencies in invoicing.
  • Works with labs to ensure accuracy and completeness of billings.
  • Manages customer portal billings, special billing requests, consolidated billings, and web orders.
  • Other duties and projects as directed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent from accredited two-year college preferred and 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

 

Education and/or Experience                                                  

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
