About the Role

Overview

Level I Housekeeper is an entry level position responsible for cleaning and maintaining the various types of resort accommodations (suites, cottages, homes), as well as pool areas, activities/fitness room, massage rooms and common areas.  They are also responsible for all on-site laundry, spot carpet cleaning, turn down services, additional guest services as needed. Responsible for maintaining housekeeping closets and carts with designated supplies and cleaning materials. All team members work to promote a 5-star service philosophy which ensures a positive experience for our guests. Additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining the various types of resort accommodations (suites, cottages, homes),pool areas, activities/fitness room, massage rooms and common areas
  • All on-site laundry, spot carpet cleaning, turn down services, additional guest services as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining housekeeping closets and carts with designated supplies and cleaning materials

Qualifications

  • Level I: 0-3 months housekeeping experience at a hotel, resort, or club preferred
  • Must have high level of customer service skills
  • Maintain a high degree of composure and tact with co-workers, guests
  • Flexible to work split shifts, weekends, holidays, long hours when needed
  • Needs to be detail oriented, with the ability to clean thoroughly at a fast pace
  • Ability to carry 50lbs, walk up and down multiple flights of stairs, handle repetitive movements and tasks
