FastGig is on a mission to redefine how businesses connect with essential workforce talent. We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Recruitment Sourcing Specialist to fuel our talent pipeline for high-volume blue-collar and contract roles.
In this role, you won’t just be waiting for applicants to apply; you will be the engine that actively hunts, engages, and secures the best hourly and contract workers in the market. Who You Are
- You have at least 1–3 years of experience in high-volume sourcing or recruitment, ideally specialising in blue-collar, logistics, retail, or contract staffing.
- You know that the best blue-collar talent isn't always on LinkedIn. You are comfortable utilising social media groups, messaging apps (like WhatsApp/Telegram), and local community boards.
- You understand that in the contract world, speed is everything. You can quickly assess a candidate’s fit and keep the pipeline moving without sacrificing quality.
- High-volume recruitment comes with shifting priorities and no-shows. You possess the grit to pivot quickly and keep a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- You can build rapport instantly with people from all walks of life, making candidates feel valued and excited about opportunities with FastGig.
What You'll Do
- Actively source, identify, and engage candidates for a wide variety of blue-collar contract roles (e.g., warehouse operators, delivery riders, retail assistants, packers).
- Deploy creative sourcing strategies across job boards, social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok), community networks, and referral programs to maintain a steady flow of applicants.
- Conduct high-volume phone or video screenings to assess candidate availability, reliability, skills, and fit for specific client contracts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates during the initial stages, ensuring a transparent, welcoming, and seamless onboarding experience.
- Track your sourcing metrics and conversion rates to continuously optimise your outreach methods and report pipeline health to the recruitment team.
