Job Description
This role is based in our Menara Skymind office.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Research Analyst, Consulting to manage data acquisition, processing, content preparation, and custom research analysis activities. This role focuses on delivering high-quality datasets and insights through primary and secondary research, advanced data cleansing, and preparation of custom research deliverables.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage data acquisition, cleansing, and processing workflows to ensure the delivery of accurate, consistent, and validated datasets that support research deliverables.
- Contribute to primary research interviews with key industry contacts, maintaining detailed records of findings and synthesizing insights to inform market analysis.
- Perform secondary research using diverse and credible sources, such as trade journals, public reports, financial releases, and company press releases, to gather in-depth market intelligence.
- Develop and maintain advanced templates and workbooks for data aggregation, cleansing, and analysis using data tools or other relevant platforms, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Build and refine comprehensive base data and market models, ensuring alignment with related markets, consistency in methodologies, and clear documentation of assumptions to support high-quality research outputs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align research efforts with broader project goals, methodologies, and client expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes by identifying, testing, and implementing enhancements to optimize quality, timeliness, and efficiency in research execution and delivery.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in research, data analysis, or related roles.
- Proven experience in managing data acquisition and content preparation tasks.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis, and content preparation.
- Advanced skills in data tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, or other relevant platforms for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and identify trends and insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey findings to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Collaborative and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to improving team processes and practices.
