About the Role

Description

  

Chevo is hiring an experienced Capital Planning-Business Analyst Lead to join our expanding firm. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business and becoming a trusted advisor.  Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to leading Capital Planning & Investment Control (CPIC) and Portfolio Management support activities, managing and overseeing Capital Planning Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) identified in the Performance Work Statements (PWS) resource estimates.


NOTE: This position is completely remote, staff supporting this contract may be located in the Kansas City and Washington DC metropolitan areas and/or surrounding areas. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Primary interface with federal Capital Planning leadership. 
  • Oversees development, maintenance, and quality of Business Cases (OMB300 equivalents), EVM reports, AAR submissions, and Investment Manager support. 
  • Ensure alignment with OMB guidance, IT governance processes, and Investment lifecycle activities. 
  • Manages Strategic Planning, Budget Formulation, Spend Planning, and Investment Re baselines. 

Requirements

  

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 8+ years CPIC experience; strong knowledge of OMB A-11. 
  • Experience mentoring analysts and leading gate review preparation. 
  • Ability to understand the needs of the government customer, set priorities and provide appropriate direction to team to implement the identified resolution. 
  • Ability to determine course of action to resolve various Capital Planning issues in a fast paced, highly visible client organization. 
  • Familiarity with FBC business case structures and portfolio data call requirements.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting USDA

SALARY RANGE: $100K - $125K (subject to change)
