About the Role

Are you passionate about helping children and families thrive through quality mental health care?


We’re seeking a compassionate mental health clinician to join our team on a contract basis to provide outpatient therapy services. This role focuses on delivering meaningful clinical care while our administrative team handles much of the documentation and billing, allowing you to spend more time doing what you do best—supporting clients!

Therapists have the option to enhance sessions with equine-assisted therapy, supported by our trained horses and experienced staff, for a unique, nature-based approach to client growth.

Eliada Homes, a historic fixture in Western North Carolina since 1903, is one of Asheville’s longest-running nonprofits. Our beautiful 300+ acre campus provides a cradle-to-career continuum of services for more than 600 children and youth each year. 


What you'll be doing: 

  • Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions.  
  • Develop treatment plans and track progress in accordance with clinical and ethical guidelines  
  • Collaborate with specialists, staff, and client families as appropriate  
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in line with licensing board and organizational standards  
  • Participate in team meetings and trainings as needed

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active North Carolina clinical license or associate-level license (LCMHCA, LCSWA, LMFTA, or equivalent). We support professional growth and provide clinical supervision for associate-level therapists pursuing full licensure.
