Sese Industrial Services US Corp. is a greenfield operation that has an immediate opening for. The Operations Quality Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the hourly quality team. They must ensure that the quality of assembled products meets customer standards.

Role/ Responsibilities
- Attendance scheduling, monitoring, training, and disciplining of hourly quality team members.
- Manage calibration of quality gauging - evaluate variation in quality/production measurement systems.
- Coordinate all actions and activities to improve the quality management system and monitors implementation, with a goal of improving "zero defects."
- Manage calibration of torque gun gauging – ensure work orders are being fulfilled on time.
- Monitor and maintain the quality level of product.
- Assist production to manage nonconforming product and to analyze and eliminate problems.
- Perform product and process audits and follow up on non-conformities detected by the audits.
- Release authority for customer/supplier quality requirements (with direction from QM/QE/SQE).
- Lead the disposition of suspect/nonconforming material and help determine root cause.
- Manage and reduce quarantine stock on hand.
- Ensure the fulfillment of the control plan for incoming goods, assembly processes and finished products.
- Participation in the Layered Process Audit schedule.
- Monitor and maintain the quality level of product.
- Use various tools, fixtures, measurement devices to analyze functionality of product.
- Recognize and disposition of product requiring sort, rework or scrap based on customer specifications.
- Document and complete required checks utilizing electronic or hard copy means to record product status.
- Manage product containment activity when necessary and determine clean points with operational assistance.
- Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management.
Qualification and Education Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: High school diploma, with specific required experience (see below). Is this true?
- 3 to 5 years of Quality Technician experience.
- Preferred education requirement: Associate degree in Quality Tech, Industrial Tech, Mechanical Tech.
- Technical and administrative skills: Familiarity with product & process auditing techniques, corrective & preventive action methods, basic hand tools for measurement, inspection methods & reporting, calibration, basic statistical knowledge, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Second shift position: needs more experience being independent – comfortable with decision making.
- Knowledgeable in Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VW FORMEL-Q).
- Medium to high tolerance towards working under pressure with peers and customers.
- Motivation to confront challenges and changes, ability to influence others to cooperate.
- Acting independently (following process rules, norms and company policy), depending on his/her superiors.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing to a small to medium sized audience.
- Logical-analytical thinking: Ability to take decisions that could affect the company.
- Knowledge of measurement system analysis, particularly with a tightening process.
- Become aware of the Sese Quality Program.
