About this role:

The Brand & Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with CNOB's core values. This role focuses on promoting products, services, and brand initiatives, and providing support to internal stakeholders. 

In this role you will

  • Brand & Culture Advocacy: Support the Bank's "People First" focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients excellent service, and always striving to make CNOB "A Better Place to Be".
  • Content Development & Distribution: Support the design, development, and distribution of marketing content across platforms, including social media, digital advertising, email marketing, website as well as traditional media.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement marketing brand programs to support the social media presence, employer brand, and internal initiatives. Facilitate Social Media Strategy and training across bank accounts including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and implement paid social media strategies.
  • Multimedia Production: Shooting and editing photo and video content to support Department objectives. This position requires time spent "in the field" across the Branch Network to capture photos, video, and stories for content creation.
  • Design & Asset Management: Create and manage campaign assets with both internal and external contracted partners. Ensure a cohesive look and feel aligned with Brand Standards across bank marketing campaigns.
  • Web & Internal Communications: Support the creative design and proofreading of new content supporting the bank's website. Support the creation of sales tools and informational content for team intranet.
  • Event Planning & Community Engagement: Support the Bank's outreach and experience efforts, assisting with event planning and providing photo and video coverage as needed.
  • Analytics & Strategy: Use analytics and engagement scores to assess the effectiveness of all media content, gather data on market segments, and track the overall success of digital content strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure marketing strategy meets federal regulations and compliance guidelines, demonstrating a knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations.

Must haves

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in marketing, communications, journalism, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Five years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years of experience in social media, and/or creative content development. Experience in creative design and brand standards is required.
  • Creative Competency: Strong graphic design skills, intermediate photo and video editing skills, and a good eye for brand standards are key. Must possess a passion for storytelling through digital media.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, Email Marketing, HubSpot, Turtl knowledge preferred. DSLR Photography/Videography editing is a plus. 
  • Communication: Exceptional oral, written, proofreading, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated divergent thinking about marketing campaigns, alongside strong creativity and critical thinking skills.
  • Leadership & Organization: Strong organizational, project, and people management skills. Must be able to mentor and guide team members and exhibit a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
