Job Description

We are looking for a Senior PA/QA Engineer to support the design, manufacture, and verification of spaceflight hardware. You will ensure high-quality standards are met across mechanisms and structural parts, participate in technical reviews, assess risks, and work with suppliers throughout the hardware lifecycle.

  • Location: London
  • On Site: 1-2 month
  • Clearance: SC 
  • Experience Level: Senior 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain PA/QA requirements for mechanisms and structural components.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical boards for non-conformances and anomalies.
  • Support materials, mechanical parts, and process selection, including verification and contamination control.
  • Inspect hardware at various stages (incoming, pre-test, post-test).
  • Work with suppliers to ensure requirements are met and resolve non-conformances.
  • Maintain quality management systems and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Mandatory space industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in PA/QA for regulated manufacturing, preferably spaceflight.
  • Knowledge of materials, mechanical parts, and space hardware processes.
  • Experience in testing, verification, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong documentation and quality management skills.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft integration and assembly is advantageous.
