Job Description:
Own the end-to-end support strategy for critical production systems and manufacturing lines, including Fusion and PLP/EIM.
Establish and enforce production deployment discipline, ensuring developers do not deploy directly to production without appropriate review, testing, approval, rollback plans, and change control.
Lead resolution of complex equipment, system, and process excursions through structured troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Partner with Process, Device, Yield, Equipment, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to correlate equipment performance with product quality, yield, and line output.
Lead cross-functional response efforts for high-impact issues affecting production availability, throughput, cycle time, or yield.
Mentor and develop support engineers; establish technical standards, troubleshooting practices, escalation paths, documentation expectations, and production-readiness criteria.
Interface with equipment vendors and MIT/IT teams on upgrades, service agreements, spare parts strategy, technical escalations, and system changes.
Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives for monitoring, fault detection, fault classification, alerting, automated recovery, and safer deployment practices.
Track recurring issues, deployment-related incidents, and operational metrics to improve system reliability, reduce downtime, and strengthen production support effectiveness.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
2+ years of experience in software development
Experience with Agile development tools and practices.
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing automation
Knowledge of system integration and API development is important.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are important.
