Job Description

Purpose of role:

To deliver condition monitoring services that maximize equipment availability, improve asset reliability, and support data-driven maintenance decisions through proactive identification and mitigation of equipment degradation and failure risks. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead subordinates effectively.

Key Activities:

1. Adhere to Smiths and John Crane business policies and values.

2. Adhere to Republic of Indonesia’s and customer law and regulations.

3. Adhere to Quality Management System.

4. Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment procedures and regulations

5. Perform vibration data collection for troubleshooting and analysis on rotating equipment.

6. Conduct route-based and ad-hoc condition monitoring inspections.

7. Analyze machinery performance data and identify abnormal operating conditions.

8. Prepare condition monitoring reports and maintenance recommendations.

9. Support maintenance planning through equipment health assessments.

10. Participate in equipment criticality reviews and reliability studies.

11. Assist in developing reliability improvement strategies and predictive maintenance programs.

12. Maintain condition monitoring databases and asset health records.

13. Provide technical presentations and communicate findings to client stakeholders.

14. Support shutdown, turnaround, and commissioning activities as required.

15. Reporting and Technical Recommendations

16. Prepare detailed oil analysis reports and communicate findings to customers and site personnel.

17. Classify results according to severity levels (Normal, Alert, Critical) and Diagnose faults such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing failure, looseness, and electrical issues.

18. Provide detailed technical reports with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

Experience

•At least minimum 5 years’ experience in similar capacity

Technical Skills.

•Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

•Willing to work on-site in remote mining/smelter locations.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Good communication and reporting skills.

•Able to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Certifications.

•ISO CAT II Vibration Analyst.

•Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA I / II).

•Infrared Thermography Level I / II

•Ultrasound Inspection Certification Level I/II
