Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air is Central Alabama’s trusted electrical, plumbing and air contractor. Since 1908, our family-owned business has earned a reputation for quality work and unmatched customer focus. Our employees are next to none: We take very seriously the importance of providing employees with both technical and customer service training. Everyone in the company attends training sessions of one kind or another. Training is conducted on everything from greeting customers on the phone to the use of the latest technology. Our Electricians, Plumbers, and HVAC technicians are background checked, drug tested and professionally trained. They attend weekly in-house training sessions and attend professional training to update their technical skills. The management team meets with staff on a regular basis to discuss each employee’s personal and professional goals and how the company can help to achieve them. Dixie invests in only the finest electricians plumbers, and technicians and the end result is low employee turnover and high customer satisfaction, repeat business and referrals. Everybody wins! Our work speaks for itself: Dixie handles everything from industrial and commercial new construction to everyday service calls for businesses and homeowners. Operations are divided equally between electrical construction, and our industrial, commercial, residential service departments. We also provide Electrical Preventive Maintenance (infrared, ultrasound, power quality) inspection testing and Arc Flash Risk Assessment services. Our designed method of testing the electrical distribution system provides the highest amount of protection while greatly reducing the chances of future costly repairs. Our programs keep client’s properties looking great, functioning properly, and most importantly, safe. These programs allows us to be the client's “eyes and ears” and aware of current issues at properties and informed of their urgency and/or importance.
