The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.
Job Description
This is a Perth based role and will require relocation to Perth.
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to become an integral member of our team delivering quality projects around Australia.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a Senior Engineer, Structural specialising in Built Form sector with a strong focus on professionalism, client delivery and innovation. You will be a key part of a vibrant close-knit, innovative team.
Your key responsibilities include:
- All aspects of design in structural engineering. Involvement in projects from technical design and documentation through to completion on site.
- Preparation of design sketches and details for drafting by technical staff and oversee the design development and documentation.
- Undertake site inspections, particularly in operating Department of Defence facilities
- Practice safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant industry experience in a consulting environment with 5-10 years’ experience.
- Strong communication and liaison abilities to engage with clients and other engineers.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client focused team.
- Strong practical understanding, proactive high-level thinking and high attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate would be applying their experience to a diverse range of structural engineering projects, with the key focus on built form sector.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent is essential. CPEng or equivalent charted status preferred but not essential.
