Working alongside some of the industry's leading transport specialists, you'll apply your technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges while continuing to grow your career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Whether you're designing innovative pavement solutions, supporting construction delivery or partnering with clients to achieve outstanding outcomes, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact from day one.
- Deliver pavement engineering designs, technical assessments and construction support across a diverse portfolio of transport infrastructure projects.
- Develop practical, innovative engineering solutions using New Zealand and Austroads pavement design standards.
- Lead pavement investigations, interpret testing data and develop robust design recommendations for complex transport projects.
- Provide technical advice throughout construction, responding to RFIs and supporting successful project delivery on site.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and contractors to deliver high-quality, technically excellent outcomes.
- Build trusted client relationships while contributing to project planning, commercial success and future business opportunities.
- Share your knowledge by mentoring graduate and junior engineers, helping develop the next generation of transport professionals.

We're looking for a collaborative Civil Engineer who's passionate about delivering high-quality transport infrastructure and ready to take the next step in their career. While the following qualifications and experience are highly desired, we encourage all interested candidates to apply, even if you don't tick every box.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Around 2+ years' experience delivering pavement design, construction monitoring and/or MSQA services on transport infrastructure projects within New Zealand or Australia.
- Demonstrated experience delivering MSQA, CPS and pavement design services on New Zealand roading projects, or supporting the delivery of pavement design packages across transportation projects.
- Strong knowledge of NZTA/Waka Kotahi and/or local council pavement design and construction standards, with the ability to apply these in practical project environments.
- Experience undertaking pavement investigations, interpreting materials testing results and developing practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Organised and commercially aware, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a genuine commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Current New Zealand Driver Licence.
Highly desirable:
- Experience using CIRCLY 7.0 (or equivalent pavement design and modelling software).
