The Mövenpick Hotel Cairo-Media City is located in the vibrant 6th of October City, offering easy access to Cairo's attractions and just a short distance from Cairo International Airport. The hotel is in close proximity to iconic landmarks like the Great Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, Dream Park, and a 27-hole golf course. The hotel's unique location alongside Media Production City studios provides guests with a blend of fantasy and tradition, creating a memorable experience.
 

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in 6th of October City, Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons.

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about the restaurant
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area
  • Assist in resolving any customer concerns or complaints
  • Keep track of wait times and communicate updates to guests
  • Ensure menus are clean and up-to-date
  • Assist with special events or large group bookings
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant setting
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of energy and professionalism at all times
  • Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and dining etiquette
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for managing reservations and table assignments
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
