Packaging Administrator

Description
The Packaging Administrator reports to the Location Manager and works closely with both the Plant Operations Manager and Packaging Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the seed manufacturing process.
They develop extensive knowledge of computer systems and utilize these systems to communicate accurate and timely information both internally and externally to our customers. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Generating process orders and accurately projecting completion dates for them.
- Work order creation in internal systems (RIC).
- Setup and generation of all finished product labeling.
- Ensuring alignment between RIC and customer systems on all inventories-finished seed & supplies.
- Ensuring finished product inventories are entered timely and accurately.
- Monitoring and maintaining printing equipment and packaging supply inventories.
- Assisting in other areas of the production facility as workload dictates.
- Ensuring a safe work environment and complying with all company safety policies.
- Able to lift and stack materials up to 68 pounds.
- Assisting with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System.
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements
- Agricultural background and experience are preferred but not required
- Computer skills - SAP, spreadsheets, email, etc.
- Excellent communications skills with positive attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Cooperative and willing to assist others
