A member of the Warehouse Department, a food service division at Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, pulling, and storing items for orders. Associates will also be responsible for sanitation functions within the warehouse. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Warehouse Operations.


Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday

(Must be willing to work OT and Weekends)

Location: Fresno, CA

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Work Environment: Warehouse Environment & Outdoors


Additional Information: This is an in-house temporary position aligned with a temp-to-hire process. While a permanent role may become available, conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and attendance. Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, values, and vision of the company.
  • Maintains general housekeeping in and around warehouses.
  • Sweeps, mops, and empties trash receptacles
  • Cleans/loads/stacks used containers including 5-gal buckets and 55-gal drums.
  • Loading dock tasks including air bag inflation for load securement.
  • Alerts leadership of any hazards or housekeeping issues in a timely manner.
  • Comply with appropriate safety procedures.
  • Maintains and uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • May perform other duties as required.
  • Overtime and weekends may be required.

Requirements


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment.
  • Advanced problem solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
  • Communication skills: written, verbal, and active listening.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Sets an example with reliability, punctuality, attendance, and willingness to work OT and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse and/or food & beverage manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Experience with food & beverage ingredients or inventory preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
