About the Role
WORKING AT YURI IS LIKE:
YOUR MISSION:
As a Project Manager your responsibility is to conduct space agency contracted and commercial development projects for microgravity research facilities and experiments with the main focus on life science applications.YOUR TASKS:
- Accountable project lead for all development Phases OTOCOQ
- Contribution and support of system engineering and MAIT aspects during all development phases
- Ressource management within the project and ressource aligment within the company
- Representation of projects in front of customers and customer reviews as PDR, CDR, FAR etc. (above all agencies like ESA, DLR, NASA etc.)
- Manage negotiations, contracts, and opportunity management (CCNs)
- Accountable for internal and external project reporting
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or another relevant technical field
- Professional experience in successfully executing projects
- Ability to identify synergies and potential cost-saving opportunities
- Previous experience in executing projects contracted by space agencies, particularly ESA, DLR, and NASA (including Fixed-Firm Price and cost reimbursement contracts), is advantageous
- Familiarity with qualification/verification, as well as PA & Safety of human space flight, based on relevant ECSS, SSP, and INCOSE standards, is beneficial
- Knowledge or experience in projects related to life science systems is beneficial
- Fluent proficiency in English, elementary German is required
