About the Role

Description


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· Assemble filters – put various types of media into pre-assembled filter frames; pour urethane and secure together by various measures, such as, bolts staples, etc.

· Clean off excess urethane from production filter frame prior to moving to the next stage (where applicable).

· Confirm frame is square based on the filter specifications provided.

· Measure and maintain correct pleat count (where applicable).

· Produce quality filters and meet Company specifications in a fast-paced environment.

  • Follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

 This position is in the US 

 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to read a tape measure. 

· Must be able to read and understand written work instructions.

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: 

 High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

 

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:

 License or certificates in any of the above-mentioned trade skills are beneficial

  • Safety glasses are always required to protect against dust and particles.
  • Protective clothing must be always worn to protect against injury which may include cut resistant gloves, sleeves, aprons and gowns.
  • Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited in the warehouse and production areas.

· Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles. 

· Must be able to withstand both a hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must   be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this   job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with   disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Must be able to lift to approximately 25-40 pounds as required.

· Must be able to stand at workstation for a long period of time.

· Must be able to use both hands on a continuous basis.

· Move arms up and down and from side to side to clean/assemble filters.

· Walks to transfer frames to the next station.

  • Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.
