About the location:
Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen is ideally located in the heart of the commercial district of Futian, across the Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Center and a short walk from the Civic Center which houses the city’s Municipal Hall and Museum as well as near the famed Shenzhen Concert Hall and Library. The Hotel is surrounded by 3 modern shopping malls and is a few steps away from the subway metro station and 10-minute drive to 2 Hong Kong borders of Huanggang and Futian. Built along contemporary lines, the Hotel features 266 rooms inclusive of 32 suites, a Club Lounge, Business Centre, 4 food and beverage outlets, and a grand ballroom with 5 other function venues plus a unique outdoor multilevel Terraces.About the role
To uncover, prospect and sell group and individual business, in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan and hotel rooms revenue budget.
To monitor and motivate the sales activities and the sales team preserving the Golden Selling Hours.
To ensure that all sales persons’ quotas are met.
To ensure that sales activities, individual accounts and group bookings are focused and coordinated with transient demand to yield the maximum revenue per available room.
To maximize sales in all hotel revenue areas with focus on rooms/banquets.
To implement and support all Four Seasons sales and marketing MOS and hotel/company sales activities.
What you will do
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve hotel budget targets.
Recruit, lead and manage the sales team to ensure sales activities are aligned to achieve overall goals and objectives.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, colleagues, and the world wide sales network.
Monitor sales production, analyze market data, and adjust sales strategies to meet planned goals.
Review and approve group contracts, considering room availability, rates, and revenue objectives.
Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and networking opportunities to develop new markets and identify potential clients.
Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring retention and repeat business.
Conduct performance evaluations and follow up with sales and events personnel for development and coaching opportunities.
Direct sales activities of the Hotel to achieve budgeted and assigned goals.
Monitor and identify current and future business trends to insure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand.
Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan.
Ensure project and business plans are executed for all market areas as stated in the hotel marketing plan with emphasis on increasing sales and profitability.
Assist the Commercial Director in establishing and directing the development of annual sales goals; ensures goals and incentive programs are fully understood and implemented for maximum achievement.
Regular travel is required with this position.
What you bring
Proven leadership experience in hotel sales, preferably in the luxury hospitality market for minimum of two years.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a passion for sales and achieving targets.
Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Fluent in English, a minimum of a college/university degree.
Assertive and diplomatic approach to business relationships.
Strong understanding of the local and regional hospitality industry.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
