What you will do as a Certified Nursing Assistant:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
  • Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)
  • Accurately measure residents blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight as assigned or indicated
  • Respond to resident call lights promptly
  • Observe, record and report any changes in resident status and abnormal signs and symptoms to the person in charge or their duly authorized practitioner
  • Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned
  • Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.

***To qualify for the sign-on bonus, applicants must be fully certified at the time of hire as a CNA with a pay schedule of $500 at 60 days of employment, $500 at 120 days of employment, and $500 at 180 days of employment. The bonus is for full time hires only and is forfeited if employment is terminated prior to 180 days. 


Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Must possess active and in good standing CNA certification from the State of Maine CNA Registry or can show proof of prior CNA certification.
  • Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.
  • Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision.
