Grand Peaks Medical is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Team Lead to join our dedicated team and grow with the organization over time. At Grand Peaks, you’ll work alongside supportive nurses, providers, and administrative staff, caring for a diverse patient population in an environment that values teamwork, compassion, and high-quality care.


Position Overview
As a Medical Team Lead, this position serves as the primary clinical support for an assigned provider, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care. The primary location for this role will be our St. Anthony clinic; however, the position may provide coverage at our Rexburg clinic as needed based on staffing needs and organizational priorities.

The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with a rotating Saturday shift aligned with the provider’s schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary clinical support for the assigned provider.
  • Assist with nursing and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
  • Administer medications, injections, and perform diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
  • Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and medical equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up as needed.
  • Support appointment scheduling and communication with patients and healthcare partners.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all organizational policies.
  • Lead by example, promote teamwork, and assist with training and mentoring clinical staff.
  • Support daily operational and clinical needs across the practice as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CMA, LPN, or RN certification
  • Ability to administer medications and IVs, take vital signs, and assist with various medical procedures
  • Minimum 2 years clinical/medical experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
