Position Responsibilities:
- Medical Chart Filing and answering multi-line telephones.
- Welcoming and screening visitors.
- Typing letters, memos and reports.
- Administrative support for nursing department.
- Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality to protect our client’s rights. This includes professional interaction with clients, families and staff.
- Demonstrates a proficient understanding and compliance with HIPAA.
- Managing multiple tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to be tactful, respectful and sincere with the public.
- Strong computer skills with MS Office products including tables in Word, Excel Spreadsheet and all areas of Outlook.
- Medical facility or Unit Clerk experience required.
- Electronic Medical Records Experience required
- Advanced customer service/support skills required.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
Hours: Monday - Friday 27.5 hours, 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM
