Job Description

  • Arrange and conduct meetings, workshops and presentations for a variety of audiences, demonstrating high-quality communication and requirements elicitation skills.
  • Review alternative solutions and make recommendations.
  • Document and map complex business processes and solutions using standard procedures, methods and tools.
  • Identify areas for improvement, specify requirements and implement recommendations to increase the effectiveness of current business processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis of issues and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into solution designs and system specifications.
  • Produce detailed Business Requirements Specification documents and liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and signed off prior to development commencing.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst.
  • Working experience of Excel to a high level.
  • Agile experience and experience working within a Scrum team.
  • Experience producing Business Requirements Documents and Business Process Mapping.
  • Experience reviewing Functional Specification Documents to ensure alignment with Business Requirements.
  • Experience of technology, IT systems and working within the Information Technology sector.
  • Communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes and concepts to non-experts.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Additional experience relevant to business analysis, requirements management, process improvement or business process mapping.
