Position Summary


As a Backbone at MONEYGUN, you’ll be an integral part of the service team, helping keep both the bar and dining areas running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume cocktail bar. This is a seasonal position, running from May through September, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Weekend availability is required.

You’ll support the bar team with setup, restocking, cleaning, and cocktail batching, while also ensuring the dining area stays clean and organized and assisting with the timely delivery of food and beverages. Your role is key to maintaining an efficient service flow and contributing to a strong overall guest experience.


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining area, and service stations throughout service, including floors, tables, and bar tops
  • Fully stock the bar, back bar coolers, and BOH reach-ins to predetermined pars before and during service to minimize downtime
  • Wash, polish, and restock glassware, ensuring a consistent and ready supply behind the bar
  • Assist with bar setup, breakdown, and ongoing restocking, including liquor room organization, breaking down boxes, and keeping storage areas clean
  • Monitor and maintain dish machine functionality, including chemical levels, cleanliness, and overall performance
  • Support ice program by producing and maintaining large format ice as directed
  • Communicate low or out-of-stock items to the team using established processes
  • Work closely with bartenders, confirming needs before stepping away from the bar to maintain efficient service flow
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring all items meet expectations and special requests are addressed
  • Clear and reset tables, including removing dishes, glassware, and utensils, and wiping down surfaces between seatings
  • Refill water and support service by assisting servers with additional guest requests
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining service stations with necessary items such as napkins, condiments, and water pitchers
  • Ensure tables, chairs, and service areas are properly arranged and in good condition throughout service
  • Respond quickly to direction from bartenders, servers, and management to support overall front-of-house operations
  • Jump in where needed to keep service running smoothly and efficiently

Requirements

About You:

  • 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work late nights and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent, reliable work ethic
  • Able to move quickly and efficiently in a busy, tight-space environment
  • Comfortable supporting multiple team members and shifting priorities throughout service
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Position Details & Benefits

  • Job Type: Part-time, Hourly
  • Compensation: $12.96 per hour + Tips
