About The Company
Eurofiber has been a provider of industry-leading open digital infrastructure since 2000. Utilizing our own fiberoptic network and datacenters, we provide smart, open, future-proof cloud infrastructure and connectivity solutions to companies, government bodies and non-profit organizations. Customers have complete freedom to choose the services, applications and providers they need, allowing them to tap into the full potential of digital innovation. Eurofiber has a 70,500 km fiberoptic network in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. This network is expanded by 50 km per week on average. Eurofiber companies operate ten datacenters in the Netherlands and France. Supplementing that vital infrastructure, we also offer interconnectivity between nearly all carrier-neutral datacenters in The Netherlands and Belgium through the DCspine platform. Eurofiber is laying the foundation under the digital society, which is why the Dutch government has assigned Eurofiber the status of ‘vital infrastructure’. The Eurofiber Group consists of Eurofiber (The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany), and Eurofiber Cloud Infra (The Netherlands). Eurofiber participates in the joint venture Unifiber in Belgium, and has an investment partnership with a nationwide fiber infrastructure operation with NGN Fiber Network (Germany).
About the Role

Company Description

Eurofiber is a premium brand providing connectivity and cloud solutions for the business market. Through our IT infrastructure, we ensure that critical organizations—such as hospitals, schools, and government institutions—remain up and running at all times.

Job Description

As a QHSE Officer at Eurofiber, you play an important role in how the organization works safely, responsibly and remains in control. You support and help coordinate the implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the ISO‑based QHSE management system, with a clear focus on Belgium and Luxembourg, in line with applicable laws and regulations.

You work closely with colleagues from the Security, Privacy and Compliance team, where QHSE represents the compliance domain alongside the security and privacy disciplines. As an integrated team, you help maintain a robust and compliant management system by identifying risks, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

In this role, you help translate Health and Safety and broader QHSE requirements into practical ways of working. You support the development, implementation and maintenance of QHSE policies, processes and controls, while keeping the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle active and properly documented in daily practice. You assist with internal audits, help coordinate external ISO audits and contribute to the structured follow-up of findings. You can also expect to be involved in our international tender processes and projects, ensuring that Eurofiber can offer solutions that are compliant with both the customer- and our certification requirements.

You also support and help oversee the handling of incidents, findings and complaints by determining the root causes and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with relevant stakeholders. In addition, you contribute to ESG‑related initiatives within the QHSE domain, supporting Eurofiber in strengthening its sustainable and responsible way of working. Through collaboration and a structured approach, you make a visible contribution to a compliant, futureproof and continuously improving Eurofiber organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a QHSE or similar compliance‑focused role

  • Practical experience with ISO management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)

  • Lead implementer or Lead auditor experience is a plus.

  • Experience with the ISO 45001 is a strong plus

  • Familiar with audits, incident management and continuous improvement processes

  • Able to translate standards, policies and legislation into practical working methods

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable working with diverse stakeholders

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross‑functional teams

  • Professional proficiency in Dutch, English and French

  • Willing to work mainly from the Zaventem office, with flexibility for home working and limited travel to the Netherlands.

Additional Information
