JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow Astro product sales in retail channels.
- Identify, engage, and onboard new retail partners, especially small to mid-sized businesses.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives.
Retail Partner Management
- Build strong, long-term relationships with existing retail partners.
- Provide ongoing support, training, and tools to ensure retail partners can effectively sell Astro products and services.
- Monitor partner performance and implement improvement plans when needed.
Market Expansion
- Explore new market segments and regions for retail growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor Astro’s offerings to local customer and retailer needs.
Data & Reporting
- Analyze retail sales performance and market trends.
- Provide regular updates and insights to management and cross-functional teams.
Campaign & Promotion Execution
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to launch and support promotional campaigns at retail locations.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all retail touch
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, retail sales, or partner management.
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of retail ecosystems, especially small to mid-sized businesses.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to travel as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree/Diploma holders in Business/Commerce/Communications or in any relevant field
- Preferably 5 years working experience in customer service environment
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or other languages are added advantage
- Able to lead and motivate the team
- Able to interact with all levels of people and possess a service oriented mindset
- Independent, self-motivated and possess positive attitude,Results oriented
- Ability to work and manage in a fast pace and challenging environment
- Mature,dynamic and proactive
- Able to organize resources, present report and coordinate project work
- PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
