About the Role

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Preventive Medicine, is seeking a tenure-track full-time Assistant Professor in Biostatistics. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a diverse research portfolio with a mixture of collaborative and independent methodological research. All areas of biostatistics are of interest; we are especially interested in candidates with a demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, high-dimensional data, and causal inference. We are looking for an individual with the ability to think critically and with a body of creative work applying statistical principles and computational techniques to biomedical science.
