Job Description

This role would oversee and manage the implementation of Extra-Low Voltage systems in construction projects. This would include coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and delivering projects on time.

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the installation and commissioning of ELV systems on construction sites.
  • Review and interpret ELV system designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on timelines, costs, and quality.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ELV systems.
  • Ensure all ELV installations comply with local regulations and international standards.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and project records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in ELV systems and construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of ELV systems: CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA, BMS, etc.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, IEC).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
