Quantity Surveyor

Roles and responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify quantity measurements for waterproofing works.
- Monitor project costs against the approved budget and identify cost variances.
- Prepare cost reports, profitability analyses, and monthly cost-to-complete reports.
- Track material consumption, labour productivity, and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare and submit monthly interim payment applications.
- Coordinate with site engineers to obtain WIRs, signed drawings, and all supporting documents required for billing.
- Follow up with the Main Contractor and Consultant for payment certificate approvals and resolve commercial queries.
- Reconcile certified, submitted, and outstanding invoices, and support the collection team to ensure timely payments.
- Identify, evaluate, and quantify variations arising from design changes, additional works, or site instructions.
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate variation quotations with all necessary commercial and technical supporting documents.
Must have skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in waterproofing or construction.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in quantity take-off, billing, payment applications, variations, cost control, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of WIRs, payment certificates, EOT, variation claims, and commercial documentation.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
