Job Description:
The Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Finance Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing a team of in-country Finance Coordinators/Analysts across multiple countries within the region. The role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance adherence, effective month-end close processes, and strong partnership with Shared Services, Country Leadership Teams and Regional Finance.
The SCS Finance Supervisor serves as the key escalation point for finance operational matters, drives process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures consistent execution of finance policies and controls across all assigned countries.
Job Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Oversight
Supervise and provide guidance to Finance Coordinators/Analysts across multiple countries.
Establish performance goals, monitor deliverables and conduct regular performance reviews.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen finance capabilities and business knowledge.
Provide workload prioritization and resource allocation to support business requirements.
Act as the primary escalation point for operational finance issues and resolution.
Financial Reporting and Month-End Close
Oversee monthly close activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reporting timelines.
Review country-level financial reports, variance analysis, and reconciliations prior to submission.
Ensure unusual transactions and reporting exceptions are appropriately investigated and resolved.
Coordinate monthly financial reporting requirements with Regional SCS Finance, Shared Services, and business stakeholders.
Consolidate and communicate key financial risks, issues, and trends across the region.
Financial Analysis and Controls
Monitor financial variances and identify root causes, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Ensure adherence to financial controls, accounting policies, and company procedures.
Review recurring process issues and drive sustainable solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Support audits and internal control assessments as required.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and local statutory requirements.
Oversee Record Retention compliance across assigned countries.
Monitor FCPA and Third-Party Due Diligence (3PDD) compliance activities.
Ensure timely completion of compliance-related reporting and documentation.
Partner with Internal Audit, Compliance, Tax, and Legal teams on governance-related matters.
Shared Services and Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between countries, Shared Services Centers, and Regional SCS Finance teams.
Facilitate issue resolution and ensure accountability for service delivery performance.
Conduct regular operational reviews with stakeholders to address service gaps and process improvements.
Build strong relationships with Country Managers and functional leadership teams.
Support business decision-making through financial analysis and operational insights.
Tax and Regulatory Support
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on tax, VAT/GST, and statutory reporting matters.
Ensure country teams provide required support for local regulatory submissions.
Monitor compliance obligations and escalate potential risks proactively.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to standardize finance processes across countries.
Lead process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and control.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.
Support regional and global finance transformation projects.
Drive adoption of finance systems and reporting tools.
Job Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA) preferred.
7-10 years of finance/accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role.
Experience managing finance operations across multiple countries and stakeholders, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
Display strong knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
Prior experience working with Shared Service Centers and regional finance organizations preferred.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and countries.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Demonstrate working proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
