YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

THE WHY

At blackwave, we are scaling our technology and building the foundation for the next generation of aerospace manufacturing. Our new site will become the environment that enables our growth for the years ahead.

In this role, you take ownership of one of our most strategic company projects: developing our future headquarters and production site from the first idea to successful implementation.

You bring together people, requirements, and complex project streams — turning a vision into a fully operational reality.

THE WHAT

You are the central driver of our new site development project. You lead all project phases — from site analysis and planning to construction and successful commissioning — while aligning internal teams, external partners, and authorities.

You ensure:
  • a future-proof site concept that supports our growth strategy
  • requirements from Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, People & Culture, and Infrastructure are aligned into one overall concept
  • planning, approvals, budget, timelines, and risks are professionally managed
  • all project partners collaborate efficiently towards a shared goal

You don’t just manage a construction project. You create the physical foundation for blackwave’s future.

Your tasks in detail and by priority:

Own the complete site development project:
Lead the project from initial site analysis through planning, execution, and successful commissioning.
→ Accountability: Own the mission. Own the outcome.

Develop the future site concept:
Align requirements from manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and business functions into a scalable and future-ready site concept.
→ Togetherness: Many perspectives. One vision.

Drive planning and approval processes:
Coordinate with authorities, architects, planners, and external experts to ensure all requirements are addressed.
→ Candor: Create clarity. Move forward.

Coordinate technical infrastructure and implementation:
Manage topics such as production areas, material flow, technical building systems, IT infrastructure, and facility requirements together with experts and partners.
→ High Performance: Build it right. Build it for scale.

Lead stakeholders and project partners:
Coordinate external suppliers, ensure transparent communication, and manage budget, timelines, quality, and risks.
→ Togetherness: Align teams. Deliver together.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Project leadership experience:
Several years of experience leading complex industrial, production, or site development projects.
  • Building from scratch:
Experience developing production sites, industrial buildings, or headquarters from concept through implementation is highly valued.
  • Technical understanding:
Strong knowledge of factory planning, production layouts, material flow, infrastructure, and technical building systems.
  • Stakeholder management:
You confidently align different interests and communicate effectively with internal teams, authorities, planners, and external partners.
  • Structured ownership:
You work independently, stay solution-oriented, and keep complex projects moving forward.

You combine long-term thinking with hands-on execution and turn concepts into reality.
