Support, Lead, and Grow with the Student Engagement & Belonging Office!
Are you organized, dependable, and looking to build your professional experience in a welcoming, student-focused environment? The Student Engagement & Belonging Office is hiring Office Assistants and an Office Manager to support daily operations, student services, administrative tasks, and programming and events. Available Student Positions:
Level I – Office Assistant $11.50 – Currently Hiring
A great entry-level position for students looking to build basic office, communication, event planning, and customer service skills.
- Greet visitors and provide helpful information
- Answer phones and respond to general email inquiries
- File documents and assist with copying and mail
- Maintain a welcoming front desk and shared office spaces
- Support the planning and execution of departmental programming and events
- Assist with the operations and management of the Shaw Student Center
Level II – Office Manager $12.50
A more advanced student leadership role supporting office operations, planning, and oversight.
- Train and support Office Assistants
- Update internal documents, calendars, and reports
- Coordinate room reservations and event logistics
- Help plan outreach and student support efforts
- Fulfill all other Office Assistant responsibilities
- Location: On Campus – Student Engagement & Belonging
- Schedule: Part Time | 8 - 15 hours per week (flexible) Day, night, and weekend hours to fit your class schedule
- Wage: Based on student employment level
